I am the founder and lead planner of Vanessa Hayward Events, where I curate elevated wedding celebrations with sophistication, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail. My training through CWP Society further reflects my dedication to delivering an exceptional client experience.
From a young age, I was immersed in the world of events helping my father at his catering functions and discovering a deep joy in the details that make a gathering feel truly special. That early spark grew into a full passion after planning my own wedding in 2014, and I have never looked back.
When you work with Vanessa Hayward Events, you are partnering with a planner who brings more than a decade of experience, and a background in human connection to every celebration we create together. What that means for you is a planning experience that feels personal, calm, and completely focused on your story, not a template of someone else's.
My goal is not just to execute your beautiful wedding. It is to make sure that twenty years from now, you look back at every detail and see exactly who you were, who you loved, and what mattered most to you on that day.
When I am not planning and designing, you will find me with my husband and children, enjoying a long brunch, a peaceful spa day, or a little retail therapy because I believe that a full life makes for a better planner.

Kanisha brings a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. You’ll often find her on -site during events, making sure all your personal details come together beautifully. She’s the one double checking place settings, smoothing out last minute changes and quietly solving problems so they don’t reach you.
Chelsea Moreland
Chelsea is the calm presence you didn’t know you needed. As the day of assistant, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes while capturing all the candid, in-between moments. With a sharp eye for details and exceptional organizational skill, she anticipates needs before they arise and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
